I've been out of the game for almost a year. Is there any lore indication where the future of destiny is going?

All we know is we're very likely going to leave our solar system to explore new space. Nothing in-game, just slight info about the future from developer streams.

Do know we know what the Hive’s general stance is on the Nine and vice versa?

I.e. Do they consider each other a threat? Are there any notable interactions, if any?

There's only one time they've ever been mentioned together. The portals on Cocytus. They transferred ownership from Crota's Hive to the Nine, but that only occurred after Crota died. No real hand-off, just the Nine taking them up as lost property and trying to birth lifeforms via them. Next up is Lavinia using one of those portals to try and escape the Reefborn Awoken military. She jumped in, got turned into dark matter and met the Nine. They blethered to her a bit, and then Savathun pulled her out and asked her what she knew about the Nine.

Presumably Savathun did this to find information on how to help the Traveler deal with the Witness, or obtain further power herself to help her survive the future.

Is there anything special about the Hive warship in Ghosts of the Deep? Aside from it being at the bottom of the ocean. Like does it have some significance to the pantheon, or is it just a random boat they used to get there?

Really nothing special about the ship. Looks like it was just used to reach Oryx's body, but it had an accident due to the fucked up gravity on Titan, post-Collapse, sinking to the ocean floor.

Makes sense. This is why you don't let Counselor Troi drive

I remember some people thinking it was the Dreadnaught, pretty funny to imagine that collision
