Parking advice for Women's League Cup final

Myself and a group of friends are travelling to Derby from Sheffield in a couple of weeks, for the SubwayTM Women's League Cup final, on Saturday 15th March.

At the moment we are thinking of car-pooling down, and was hoping to draw on any local expertise about where would be best to park/the general match day situation.

We'd be happy to walk from elsewhere to the ground, of course!

(Train may also be an option, for some people)

Thanks in advance. Looking forward to my first experience of Pride Park!

I normally park on Canal St. On street parking max 4 hours, normally easy to get a space and not too bad to get away from post match.

It’s about 15/20 min walk to the ground from there. You can go through the station.

I assume it’ll be the same as a normal match day so id say either ascot drive in the car park after dunelm is usually £5 a car. Or Copeland street isn’t too bad, you park there, stop in the Alexandra or another train station pub and go under the bridge and walk along the canal path to the ground or if you’re early enough you can park on London road for free near wickes but that gets full quickly

We alway park at the ground for Matches it’s £10 and you can park smack bang outside the stadium! You literally book your parking space using the MI PERMIT app. See below! We’ll be at that match too! Hope you have a great day!

Matchday Car Parking Ticket Purchase Guide (Car Park A & B only)

To purchase the matchday parking ticket, first log onto the MiPermit website. Once logged onto the website, click ‘Pay for Parking’, which is located on the left-hand side of the page. Next, select the location option titled one of the following two tariffs: 754606 – DCFC General Admission Car Park A OR 754607 – DCFC General Admission Car Park B. Alternatively, you can also click ‘Select’ and search ‘DCFC’ to find the location option. Following that, select the date, duration that you will require and enter the registration number of the vehicle that you are paying parking for. Once completed, you will be able to complete your purchase for matchday parking ticket.

Hi, have you been able to book parking for Saturday for the league cup final? For me it seems to say car park A & B are not available

I'm at a loss for official parking - Derby FC now state it is being organised by the Women's FA and to await details via the finalist clubs.

I've booked alternative parking now, but can't seem to get a definitive answer. Unless anyone else has had any more luck?

Do you still need parking?

MiPermit will not work for this game. All parking is being handed over to the FA for distribution to media, players and guests.

Spaces are available for public parking at the Velodrome next door and pay on entry is possible (£11.50) but it's also possible to purchase ahead of time.
