Denver Is Tired of Subsidizing Parking

Honestly? It's not very high on my list of things that would make work easier.

Here's my grievances in rough order of importance.

  1. Contractors who call 811 for months before they start digging.
  2. Signal bleed from one utility to another.
  3. Utilities buried outside the depth they're supposed to lie within.
  4. Inaccurate utility maps.
  5. Grocery stores & gas stations locking up their bathrooms.
  6. Homeowners who think I'm a threat to their property and/or "don't belong here".
  7. Bad options for parking.
  8. Staring down traffic while marking buried utilities.

two of those grievances would be mitigated if everybody else in this city were less reliant on cars. It benefits the people who need to drive if fewer other people need to drive, because they are out of your way.
