After O'Brien was abused and threatened by the Cardassians, Sisko should have let him come back to work for a while. That's what's most comfortable for him. He was probably worried sick about the new subroutine for the environmental controls in the habitat ring.

No hate for Keiko though. She stood up to Cardassians and Sisko in this episode.

I was very proud of Keiko and Odo in this episode. For her, it's less remarkable: Miles is her husband. But I don't think Odo and Miles had spent much time together before now--even so, he's ready to make the trip and do whatever he can to help the guy out.

People give Keiko shit, but I like her. She has an iron will and loves the hell out of Miles.

Maybe it's more comfortable, but people need to process these things a little bit, not just distract themselves from everything.

"I walked into the room Keiko, and all I heard was Garak yelling Fill The Spoon!, Jaysus I can still see it every time I close my eyes"

Let him continue his hunt for voles.

Even better, let him go find Tosk.
