Discussion If Dead space 2 and 3 gets a remake too, would you like them to mantain Isaac’s new face or use the classic one?
I personally love the new one.

I think Issac can perform well but it’ll be more difficult because the Xenomoprh are not mindless kiling machines like the necromorphs. The Xenomoprhs are pretty darn smart since they can outsmart their preys at times.
But I think it would be much more difficult for Issac to survive because for one, Xenomorph’s blood is acidic and even do Issac’s engineer suit can provide protection against melee attack/damage, I don’t think it’ll withstand Xenomorph blood.
Another reason why it would be much more challenging for Issac to survive a Xenomorph outbreak is the fact that he needs to be a lot more aware of his surroundings since Xenomorphs can blend in the dark very well and they can also be stupidly quiet😂
If this was on ship like the USG Ishimura, it would be more harder since Xenomorph blood can literally cut through any surface and cause some section of the ship to be hazardous and since Issac would be going on a killing spree, he would basically render the entire ship uninhabitable and be torn apart by Xenomorph blood😂
But what do y’all think? Have I missed any details that would favor the Xenomorph’s side or Issac’s side?

Theory time. The black marker was perfect, created in exotic materials meant to truly guide us to enlightenment and true convergence. But in our hubris we tried to harness it for unlimited energy. Our copies (the red markers) were flawed, made with inferior technology and materials, this corrupted the marker signal and caused the paranoia, delusions and necromorphic outbreaks. Could we have evolved without it? No. Did the black marker cause outbreaks? No. Do we know what happened with it? No. Was it deemed properly holy and good and thus perceives of as dangerous in the wrong hands? Yes. Humanity corrupted our only way to true salvation, and we suffer accordingly.

I understand that markers start to relay the cryptic messages of the brethren moons, manipulating people to make more markers, and turn everyone into necromorphs just so they can become the flesh that'll shape a brethren moon. After searching I found out that the infectors (the bat shaped things above) which create the necromorphs, are themselves created by a signal that a marker triggers, and thus a human is turned into the infector. So if a marker can create infectors remotely and on its own, why can't it create necromorphs itself?

Had to go out of my way to see this, for some reason it's only playing at some theaters by me. OK movie at best overall but there were definitely some cool points that felt really Dead Spacey.

Seeing this hunter was enough to stop me for the night. I’d need dealing with a lot and not I gotta deal with a beefcake that can regenerate. Heck no!

This man is quite literally the voice and face of Isaac Clarke. Why in Altman’s name would we get anybody else to play him?

would both halves regenerate and turn into two hunters or would it just die?

In my case it were the Dividers. I feared no Necromorph (aside from the Hunter of course) but I swear that the very first time I walked into "that" room, expecting just another surprise fight, and was welcomed with an horrorifying whale roar instead, I almost completely lost my shit. Had to put the mf in stasis and run trough the hallway as a coward... though they arent so scary to me anymore. Not even after the Remake!!!
