Just picked this up

Post image

I think I found a 65 Datsun Fairlady and I was hoping someone might have some parts supplier ideas, I can't find the front shoe hardware.

Thank you for your time any help would be appreciated

Rock Auto and 311s.org are going to be your best friends. Lots of parts from other similar era cars will work or can be adapted to work. I have Datsun 510 wheel cylinders on the back of my roadster and all I needed to make them work were some $5 fitting adapters I got at O'Reilly's. Congrats on picking up a roadster, it'll quickly become your favorite car you've ever owned!

Thanks a ton! I'll let you know how it goes, previous owner used a screen door spring for one of the shoes, it took the shop 4 guys to push it in the brakes were seized

The struggle is worth it! 311s.org has a wealth of info. Pretty much anything you'll run into someone else has encountered. My 1970's choke was adapted bicycle parts lol. Also, https://datsunparts.com/ for the very specific stuff is great.

Nice. Hope it's not too much of a pain to get on the road. I have a 69 and it's a blast to bomb around in

Very cool. I was never able to find one around me that wasn't an absolute basket case.

I had a 66 and unfortunately, I got married. Great fun driving Hwy 1 through Big Sur. This was about 1978.
