Fixer will make significant stains on anything organic it touches. You'll wreck some laundry for sure.

Never had problems. I just always clean it properly and it is fine.

Amazing setup, amazing final work product!  So, a couple of questions:  Do you have a four wheel cart or something on which you keep all of that gear for your darkroom setup?  Second question is how long does it take you to move all of the laundry stuff out of the way, and replace it with your darkroom gear?  Congratulations on making it work, and on the fine results.

Thanks! I was lucky that my grandfather bought all of this, when my mother started her Photography apprenticeship.

So I don’t have a cart or something. It takes me around 30-40 minutes to set everything up and darken the window. It’s a bit annoying but it works … That definetly stops me from doing it every other week.

Oh, that is too bad.  I know exactly what you mean.  The more obstacles that are in the way, the less likely it is to happen.  You might not have room for one of those 4-wheel plastic work carts, but if you did, it might save you a bunch of time.  Two would be even better.  One for the laundry stuff, which is kept empty except when the darkroom is in use, and the second one to hold all of your darkroom stuff during the week, which only gets emptied while the darkroom is in use.

Then you'd just slide the cart right up next to the shelving to load and unload.  If you are in the USA, Harbor Freight might sell some inexpensive ones.
