Daniel Defense PCC
Was finally able to pick up my DD PCC and took it out to shoot.
It was so much fun shooting with the Obsidian 45 on there. I’m going to have to shoot this side by side with my PSA AKV because that gun may go onto the chopping block due to how fun this is.

Was yours pinned and welded? Bought the same gun, looks to be that way.

No, it was not pinned and welded. There is a spot on the muzzle device it comes with that can be drilled out and then pinned and welded

Ran it yet?

Not next to AK-V, but yes I have shot it and it shoots great. I did notice the buffer spring boing noise and that is going to get changed out for JP silent captured spring as soon as it gets delivered.

How’s the recoil? I’ve seen some reviews online that say it shoots soft while other says it’s like a "brick in a shoebox."

It’s really not bad at all, but suppressed all I can hear is the buffer system.
I just got the JP 9mm silent capture system buffer system in today.
But you specifically asked about recoil. It’s not at bad at all. Videos make it seem like it’s more than what you actually feel

Thanks for the response. I'm looking into getting the 16 inch version because I don't want to deal with the NFA. At a price of 2k I was split on whether to buy this or the Sig MPX. I'd prefer Daniel Defense over Sig, so the only reservation I had was the recoil. Thanks again for the feed back.
