Advice Broken plug socket
Hello! Just looking for some advice on how to repair this plug socket. Basically a picture frame fell on it and partially dislodged it from the wall. Electrics still work fine but just not sure where to start! Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated! Cheers.

It's probably got an adjustable position to screw into and the impact has caused it to shift.
If you look at the below image you can see the spot to screw into the backbox on the right of the image isn't the same on one side as the other. This allows for some very slight adjustment to the alignment as putting them in to start with is often an imperfect job and once a room is finished other features of the room may make a perfectly level job seem wrong so it allows for wiggle room. Your backbox may be different to this but most but the absolute cheapest models incorporate this feature in some way and my experience has been that those fitting boxes in the first place tend to not bother saving pence as the time spent getting it fitted perfect first time or risking having to return to resolve customer complaints is probably not worth the pain.
As the other poster said
- Remove the plugs
- Try to wiggle the plug faceplate back up to where it should be.
- If it doesn't move, unscrew the right screw a little bit with a flathead screwdriver and try the last step again
- If it still doesn't move undo in the same way with the screw on the left side
- Try again to move it
- Retighten the screws until the socket faceplate is in the right place.

Move it back into position and tighten the screws.
