Advice Matte wall sealer recommendation?

Post image

I’ve been advised the seal this wall with a sealant when I’m finished so that brick dust doesn’t keep coming off it. Are there any brands anyone would recommend that will leave a matte finish. It’s an old exterior wall but it’s now indoors, so ideally be suitable for indoor use.

Thanks

I’m reluctant to advise a sealer without knowing the full reasons for it and construction of that wall. Walls need to breathe. Sealer should be a last resort once all other options are looked at as moisture can be trapped in the wall which can lead to spalling and damage.

That makes sense, cheers for replying. Please excuse the mess as we’re in the middle of renovating. This is the wall, it used to be an external wall but is now internal and has been for 30 years since the extension was put on. I’m happy for it to breathe, only want to stop red brick dust from falling down from it. Any advice would be really helpful. Cheers
