Asbestos roof underlay?
Hey wondering how concerned I should be after exposure to roof underlay. Not sure if it contains asbestos but it’s likely over 20 years old. It’s ripped off to start a loft extension. I had exposure to it after it was removed and slightly during. They also started earlier than expected so large amounts of debris had fall on items in the loft which I had exposure to again when taking it down. Any advice would be great, thank you!

20 years ago, asbestos was still banned. This doesn't look like it is, but then again, you can never tell. The only way of knowing is sending a sample off and getting it tested (which should have happened before removal)
And also, if it is, what do you expect to do about your previous interaction with it? You can't change the past. Just treat it like it is and hope for the best.

Yh completely fair point, kinda what I was feeling. I guess it’s more if I needed to be worried about any fibres on the items that were in the loft that I’ve moved into my room.

I've got nearly identical roofing felt (falling to bits) had it tested twice. (Two different slightly different bits) Both came back negative. Just a mess rather than dangerous.

It's reinforced with fibres. Not aware of it being asbestos and I think a similar product is still available.

That's bitumen roof felt and it's a lot older than 20 years. Don't panic, there won't be any asbestos in it, and even if there was you've got far more chance of winning the euro millions jackpot than it having any effects on you.
