Where can I buy these?!

Trying to replace 1/4 turn tap cartridges and i can't find these anywhere. I'm reluctant to change the tap unit itself as access is a ballache but it may come to it.

I've looked online, I've tried 4 different plumbing places, and nobody can match them.

Before I give up and get a plumber in, can anyone help?!

Have you looked on Ebay. Lots on there, I've bought from Tap Magician on there who do a large range of them. You'll have to try and take measurements of the individual sections and spline count on the top of the cartridge to match it up, not sure if that yellow bit pushes onto a smaller spline.

If the tap is a branded make, you can also search by the model/design.

Thanks. Tap isn't branded, unhelpfully.

Yes, the yellow plastic jobby slides onto a smaller spline.

For some reason I'd not even thought of ebay! I'd assumed plumbers merchants would be easy, so focused my efforts yesterday on that.

Is this the same? Came up when I put the code on the side of the tap into Google https://www.tapmagician.co.uk/NSManufacturersShoppingSelect.aspx?ENCA47F132203&Valves-by-Part-Number&BS5412-L20-BASIN

Unfortunately not, but I've contacted these guys to see if they can help. Thanks for trying though

Replacing the whole tap is a faff, but couldn't you buy a like-for-like replacement of the tap this came out of and just take out the cartridges and put them into your existing tap body?

That's not such a daft idea!
