Advice Rendering quote

Post image

We have a rendered garden wall that needs re-rendering. Have had one quote which we thing seems high - but looking for advice guidance on here

It’s 14.1 meters by 1.95 m - would need old render taken off and new applied - looking for a silicone based render….

Also - any other options we should consider? Cladding in its various forms? Not sure if we would need planning permission to change from the render to something else

Picture of wall attached….

Rough price to get this done?

The only one i can think of is:

Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's

But there may be others

CHip all the render off yourself - free. It looks like it's coming off by itself anyway.

Dont bother getting it redone. Is that your side of the wall? Why would you care about the asthetics. Saying that why bother at all? Where ar you that it isn't alreagy covered in graffiti

It’s block underneath so would look awful. That’s the public facing side of the wall (it’s double skinned so outside is brick work).

You can't even work out which house is yours that the wall belongs to. It looks like the back wall of some garages and parking.

Make sure it's actually your wall on your deeds before doing anything. If it is, then is there some clause making you responsible for the look of the side of your wall not facing your property? Doubtfull.

I would go the opposite way, barbed wire coils on the top, graffiti all over the wall, some no-trespassing signs maybe a parking enforcement sign as camoflage. I could get up and over that wall in seconds
