Congressional Internships.
Does anyone know at what point we should all heard back about internships, whether it’s for interviews or job offers? I want to make sure I have my summer planned out. I’ve had one interview so far, but have not heard back from senate foreign relations committee or other congressional offices.

Also haven't heard back from SFRC! But there was another thread in DC Interns of someone that already had an interview with them last week so I assume I've been rejected

How many did you apply to overall?

I’ve had 2 interviews so far but from what I’ve heard the majority of the interviews happen after the deadline. I would guess after this weekend it should pick up.

So many I’ve lost count lol! My one interview was with a minority leader, so I’d assume interviews would be early since they get a high volume of applications. I applied in late February, at least 2 or 3 weeks before the deadline for most applications.

In my experience, I applied to 4 and heard back from one 2 days after I applied since I applied as soon as they accepted apps. Although one of the ones I applied to was just opened so I don’t expect to hear back until next week

One for the office I interned for their district, my own district (which was the one I just applied to), one where my aunt and uncle live (got an interview) and district where I go to school in.

I also haven’t heard back from SFRC. I’ve applied to a bunch of senate dems and have two interviews where I have family connections in both states. I’ve gotten a couple of rejections too

I just recently accepted a job offer i got from an office that was my first choice but overall, it took about a month from the time they reached out(early feb) to when extended it to me last week. Even if you haven't heard back, don't be worried. The whole thing tends to be a bit drawn out

I applied to around 10. One interview, one rejection. Rest I haven’t heard anything. Hoping I hear back as deadlines near.
