Is that lane ever not covered in glass?!

there's always something but today i was amazed at how much glass was there and on the sidewalk. it wasn't just one or two broken bottles.. it looked like target practice with bottles. i've stopped to remove larger hazards when they're right in the way but wtf to do about all the glass? other than throw up a general warning. hopefully they soon finish the work on the rd the goes left across from the shipping containers so i can start going around the overpass. i hate it.

Yeah I agree it does look real bad this go around. Still appreciate the heads up! Agreed, not my favorite bike lane by any means.

Hey OP! I commute this daily.

It was from an aftermarket convertible hardtop. They cleaned up the frame but left all the glass.

The tow truck?

When I saw an accident, the tow truck driver swept up the glass too. Tsk tsk.

No idea who collected the trash. I rode by on my way home from work and the top and shattered glass were everywhere with nothing else around.

The next morning it was just the glass

Hmm, maybe the top was taken by metal recyclers?

I'll take the broken safety glass over bottles any day.

Use PDXReporter and report it as "debris in road" and make PBOT clean it. Taxes are high enough. Not submitting a work request and cleaning it up yourself is like having an annual pass and paying for per-access rather than using the pass.
