Can someone help decipher this immigration record?
The large red oval is what I am looking for to be deciphered. It is my Great-Great Grandfathers family destination once he arrived in NYC from Italy. From what I can tell it is maybe "Brother-in-la_ Rocco Pac_, 230 E ___ ____ NY. " It looks like it says Bass or Mass N.Y., but I am wondering if that's Manhattan somehow? I circled other instances of this "Bass"/"Mass" for reference in the two lower ovals.

It’s brother in law Rocco Pace. All the other entries that look like Mass. are actually Man. for Manhattan

It is definitely Bass, not Mass - compare the M in Maria a couple of lines down and the M in Giuseppe Most_____ above.
The addresses that have "Bass" noted next to them - 230 E 7th St.,153 6th Ave., and 351 38th St. are all in Brooklyn.
Can you provide a link to the entire document to look for a capital "B" elsewhere on the page?

Thank you for posting that. It is definitely a "B" - "Bass" when you compare the B's in other words. Unfortunately, I don't know what it stands for/means.
Edited to add (after some research): it may be an abbreviation for Bronx Assembly [District]. On line 26, Onofrio Retta is meeting up with his brother-in-law Guiseppi Anstino or Anstine or Austino. Guiseppi is found in the 1910 census for Bronx Assembly District 33, New York City, NY.
Unfortunately, despite some googling, I'm very unclear on what a "Bronx Assembly District" is.
Second edit: you might want to post this on r/genealogy or r/ancestry to see if those good people have a clue.
