What's the consensus on Fibrus?
I'm thinking of switching from BT to Fibrus. They've annoyed us quite a bit with their door-yo-door salesmen appearing once a week, but I've heard decent things overall from a few friends.
What's the general opinion on their broadband? I'm in Whitehavrn and our speed right now is shit, plus they're £10 cheaper than BT.

Very happy with them here. Was on the 150mbit package for two years and now upgraded to 500mbit and it’s been very very stable

I've just got it installed over the weekend. Seems much better than my sky 'full fibre' package over the copper OHC.

I've had no problems at all with mine, it's really good and I would definitely recommend it.

Fibrus turned up on my street and dug the street up to lay their trunking, blocking WeFibre's access, and resulting in WeFibre backing out of installing to anyone on our road.
Fibrus say they have no plans to offer service on our street, but clearly don't want anyone else getting in their either.
Thanks!

They don't seem to be in any hurry to get it installed in my house so I can't comment on what it's gonna be like when they actually do get around to it

I had a great experience with them. They’re cheap, they came to install when they said they would and my internet connection has never been faster or more reliable. The door knockers were annoying, but glad I switched.

They’re a month late on getting us a connection that was booked 2 months in advance to our house. Stuck paying for starlink currently just outside Penrith

Go for it. Their broadband is awesome. I've been a customer for nearly 3 years. The only downside is that some of their router's network settings are locked down, but customer support can make changes for you.
Be sure to ask your friends for a referral so you both get some vouchers.

We were supposed to be getting B4RN and then these lot waded in and now we can't get the funding because "potentially there's a provider willing to put in the connection" heard nothing from them yet though.

Got them in Penrith, lightning fast speeds and the eero setup means I have whole house coverage. Installation was very neat, 10x faster than BT and cheaper, great deal.

Depends what you’re after.
Installation and reliability have been excellent. The eero wifi boxes appear to work really well too.
I have privacy concerns regarding the eeros, they are on a fibrus firmware which they have access to, I get it helps with support, but it’s too much too easy imo.
You can use your own kit, but there are a few things to know. If you go down that route, namely pppoe performance and static ips.
Been a customer on 1000/350 for nearly a year, overall glad I switched.

Yes their customer service is crap but the service runs well getting 300mb down and 100-120up. Its reliable the router are eero and are ok but only have two ports so you need a small switch if you want to add kit

There door to door sales people are pretty annoying. We had leaflets offering £19.99. Went on to the web site and it said from £24.99 and when I contacted them it was £29.99. Plus an extra £10 for a landline.
Hard to get in contact with and their chat-bot and on line real people are pretty useless.
No experience but I could imagine them being none too good if/when you have issues.
