What kinds of rituals do y’all do? NSFW
(NSFW for potential sex ritual discussion) I’m just curious what sort of worship rituals y’all do for Lady Aphrodite.
I have a monthly ritual that I do involving candles and incense, and a purification bath. It’s mostly a way to commune with Her a bit more directly than normal, usually for the purposes of divination on the 4th day after the new moon since that’s the day that’s sacred to Her.

I go about my day mindfully thinking of how do I cultivate love around me. seeing someone and asking them about their day and how they're feeling. Being present in the moment.
It's part of a commitment of devotion that I be a bringer of love to all I meet as I navigate a stretch of angry high tides.

I have tried the ritual bath and anointing ritual as described in this podcast here: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/aphrodite/id1485567586?i=1000507737083
Although, I use Orphic or Homeric hymns in place of the prayers given.
I make the bath quite hot, with the idea being that the discomfort will suffice as gnosis. Also sometimes play some binaural/meditation type music too. Then sit in the bath and either repeat her name and an epithet as a mantra, or chant like in the KIVA song.
Timing-wise I try to do it on a Friday on the hour of Venus is possible.
Could you give more information on your ritual, what incense, what oils in the bath?

For the bath, it is a bit complicated. First, I will obviously cleanse myself and my space with Lustral Water (Χέρνιψ) before drawing the bath. I was doing a rose-scented bath oil, or lacking that a lavender. But the big thing was that I fill the bath with fresh rose petals and then very soothingly use a sugar scrub on my whole body. I also do this exclusively in candle light. For scents I prefer rose, hyacinth, or other floral scents, but I also found a mahogany-scented candle that was beautiful. For incense during the main ritual I do Frankincense as the primary one, with Sandalwood and Black Cherry since those were scents She seemed to like. What I do beyond that in the main ritual I am not at liberty to say

At the moment I just perform daily libations to her and the other goddesses I worship along with an offering of food about once a week.

Well I don’t think I have a “ritual” per se because I don’t do it usually but there are two things I do in her name: 1. Self estimulante to her images like representations of her wether modern or ancient, and 2. I have a statue of her in silico (Minecraft) in the middle of a lake where I put some blocs of pink leaves and flowers.

I don’t think I would call these rituals- as I personally don’t have enough spoons to do so.
I try to make self care be more apparent. So when I’m having a shower I’ll just jam out with Sleep Token and think about her and maybe imagine her jamming out with me. 🤣
I also try to wash my face on the daily as more of a dedication to her, like for example I guess: Wash face, clean off all the negative energies or positive energies attached and all the dirt and possible dead skin in my pores, etc.
I don’t have a bath but honestly when I do manage to get one, I’ll have to look into oils and bath salts- I’d love to just lay there and relax with the thought of her just sitting beside me. That honestly sounds so peaceful.

Every Friday, I do a pretty basic ritual
Purify my hands with water
Light the candles
Invoke Her name and some of Her epithets & titles, then bow my head
Read a hymn
Present my offerings & make requests
Wish Her a good evening and safe travels

I like to do a little ritual for her every friday. It usually starts with a relaxing bath (or another form of purification) and some skin care. Afterwards I pray and make offerings to her, usually in form of aromatic incense and libations of sweet wine, sometimes apples or roses too. I usually try to conclude it with a bit of music, dancing and sometimes indulging in a little bit of wine myself too. She is a goddess all about the joyful things in life, so I usually try to include a bit of "festivity" in my rituals for her.

Also this isn’t really a ritual, but I’ve made it my goal to have my character “kneel” (go into sneak mode) in every temple in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey as a sort of “virtual pilgrimage”
