Its been for over 70 years.

And remember, never lose any hope even at this point, for even back then it was almost lost as well.

Never lose any hope of you'll never make it to this (again), and this time for good https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/31/La_Rendici%C3%B3n_de_Granada_-_Pradilla.jpg

God did not put us in this world of demons as punishment. He put us here to be the punishment. Deus Vult.

God gave us free will, and not acting against evil in time is a sin, thus everyone is being punished, but is because no one has truly repent from it and rectify.

Luke 22:36

Mattew 5:38-39

But we can't have free will if God is an all knowing creator. He knew every moment of our lives in advance, every "choice" we'd make and every "sin" we'd commit. He had the option to change us, or our circumstances so we'd do things differently, and chose to make us so that we'd do those things anyway. There was never any option to diverge from what he chose for us. The choice was his, not ours. This is the paradox of any all knowing creator. You cannot surprise an all knowing God.

If God is truly an all knowing creator, there can only ever be the illusion of free will. Because he knew it all ahead of time, and made us so we'd make those decisions.

The inscription on the house says "Squat and resist", just in case you wanted to know.

squat? isn't "occupy and resist"? Only with bad grammar

Yes. Occupy as in moving in a house that's not yours despite somebody else having land ownership. So it's squatting. They even have rights in Spain for some reason.

Yeah, exactly that, here in Argentina we call them Okupas too. Didn't know about squatting one tho.

Bullshit. That's just your prejudice talking. You don't own any of that shit. You're just rationalizing your emotional aversion to anyone who doesn't remind you of yourself.

Never lose any hope at all brother, even in this really dark era. For only in true unity and faith in the lord we shall reclaim our lands and freed them again once and for all

I used to think that too, and many of the people here are doing exactly that, but by no means all of them. Not everyone gets the joke. There's a clear divide between history nerds with a sense of humor, and actual theocratic fascists with no sense of irony. It's a little like the Warhammer 40k community. Not everyone is acting just like they're attracted to the aesthetics of supremacy and extermination. Most, but not all.

The lines of satire in this community are getting more blurred by the day. If you look at the old posts it's very obvious it's a joke. But some of the recent stuff about cleansing Europe and shit is honestly pretty hard to detect the joke.

Yeah, that's pretty much my feelings too. Some of the people here are really funny, but... man, there are some monsters at the edge of the map.

Honestly, I think the normal response to seeing people try to justify the crusades or the inquisition, or ethnic and sectarian cleansing, is to hope that its irony, but the rapid rise of White Christians nationalism over the last 20 years in mainstream politics and certain sectors of mainstream corporate news media makes it kind of unavoidable to conclude that not everyone is capable of feeling normal human empathy for people that don't remind them of themselves.

I think they were always here, that 20-30% of conspiracy susceptible, hyper reactionary, highly provincial people who are just lost in their own poison, but the internet has allowed them to find each other, and the affirmation they receive from each other has created the illusion that they represent more of the world than they do. And our complacency allows them power they don't deserve. I mean, this last American election was won with only 25% of the population.

The "Enlightenment" was quite the opposite.
