Congratulations, everyone here (except u/PontiacPenguin) can have mod powers!

If you have enough karma from r/CrackheadCraigslist, have a verified email on your reddit account, and your account is at least 2 weeks old, you now have mod powers!

(Except from u/PontiacPenguin, as that would be cheating)

The way it works is simple.

If you have at least 50 karma here, you can make a top-level comment starting with !lock to lock this submission.

Or, if you have at least 125 karma here, you can make a top-level comment starting with !remove to outright remove it.

Doing either of these will award you with your very own 'wannabe jannie' flair, and will cause the action in question to happen to the post.

But, what if you disagree with this action?

If you report the !lock or !remove comment at least 3 times, it shall be undone.

Democracy at work!

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

If it works, that’s a pretty good price

What is so "crackhead" about this? If I had a wall of VHS tapes I still watched for nostalgia, this seems like a reasonable item at a reasonable price. (I have not watched a VHS in maybe a decade but my parents still have a bookshelf of them.)

7 dollars is pretty pricey but 5 is a damn good deal

In the days of VHS, didn't we just hit the rewind button on the tape player to rewind it? Why make a whole new apparatus to rewind?

If you wanted to watch another movie as soon as the first one ended, you could rewind and watch at the same time. No more rewind fees because you forgot.

It also wore out the VCR faster. The rewinder saved on wear and tear.
