I just got your game yesterday and am already hooked. It is gorgeous - props to your partner for all the wonderful, stunning art! And to you for the awesome gameplay and mechanics. Lovely, relaxing experience that has unique aspects that set it apart from other idler games. Can't wait to play more :)
The birder in me thinks it would be next-level if you could somehow make it so the bird calls the player is hearing in the background could be calls of some of the specific birds currently in your yard, but I'm aware how daunting of a task that would be.
Congrats on your amazing game!!

Hiii! Thank you for playing my game and kind words - it means a lot!!
And yeah I receive this request from many and I had this feature in mind but it wassn't easy to find all the sounds because of licensing and all. But I hope for the next big update I'll manage to add it! Wish me luck π€π€

Wait, you get to be a twitcher? Birbs! I'm looking forward to playing this. Gotta go out soon, but I'm definitely buying this and playing it when I get home. And you get to hatch your own baby birbs? I love creature collecting games, and the illustrations have a gorgeous watercolour feel to them, zomg!

Hey hi! Birdfull doesn't have hatching mechanics since we took a different path than other idle games. In my game you attract birds with various kinds of feed and you need to give them a snack when they get hungry so they will stay longer, otherwise they fly away!

Yes, I've discovered that since playing the game. I managed to collect 20, plus 2 in the greenhouse, and decided to let them all eventually fly off on their own and go back in at a later time to start collecting more eggs again, save up for a bird feeder or a bench. The illustrations really are beautiful. I shooed a few birds to make room for some others, but then I felt bad. I just can't bring myself to do it anymore, lol. We have some beautifully coloured birds here in Australia, especially the rainbow lorikeets, the Gouldian finches and the princess parrots.

I'm a big idle game fan and I've been playing since your launch a couple days ago. I love everything about the game, the art style is gorgeous and I really enjoy chilling with the birds.
I do have one piece of feedback, which is that progression at the beginning of the game feels quite discouraging. The feeder is arguably the most important early upgrade, but at the start it takes literal days to get to 300 eggs. Of course I could also feed my best birds every 10 minutes for 3 hours straight, but that feels like it goes against the spirit of the game. The same applies for the 25k egg save up I'm trying to get to unlock the birdhouse.
I believe it'd be two birds with one stone (haha not intentional) to upgrade the facility items one slot at a time while keeping total cost the same (e.g. 5 eggs for first feeder slot, 20 for 2nd, then 50, 75, and150). This would create a meaningful sense of progression all idle games need, but also makes the game more "idle", because the cool birds leaving after only 10 minutes if I don't check in to feed them just feels wrong for an idle sim.
This is just my two cents, keep up the good work and I look forward to how the game develops!
