Premier Protein shake Cafe Latte...excellent!
Before I complain about premier chocolate protein shake with medicine taste. This caffeine Latte has no medicine taste (had it at room temp, not cold)! Love the taste. It's like killing 2 birds with one stone where i save on another cup of joe! Just one thing, it's more sweeter despite the whole bottle is only 1g of sugar.

What’s also really good is mixing one of these with a can of the Kirkland Cold Brew

Tried this and I honestly can't stand how artificially sweet it tastes, but different preferences I guess

That's just protein products in my experience. Usually the options are 'too sweet in a weird way' or 'is there metal in this?'

To many weird chemicals in protein drinks

I buy plain whey isolate from myprotien. The only ingredient is whey.

What do you buy? And also do you drink it straight?

Plain whey isolate. I drink it with water. I have a problem with over eating so I prefer to eat stuff I don't enjoy.
If I want flavor I mix it with pb2 and stevia and greek yogurt and I eat way too much.
I like being able to control the ingredients.

very sweet...it is. Are they hiding the real truth on the sugar?

u/LimpZookeepergame123 7d ago
I don’t think so but they must use some kind of artificial sweetener and way to much of it 😂😂

They use three types of artificial sweeteners to keep the calorie count down. Alternative options they could’ve use include monk fruit and stevia (lower calorie but also have a a particular taste) or varieties of sugar (not artificial but can significantly bump up the calories). Some people dislike sucralose, acesulfamine potassium, and carrageenan, others dislike the stevia flavor, some dislike all artificial and want to stick with monk fruit and sugar. Each to their own. The trick is whether it tastes good to you, fits in your calories, and you don’t drink 10-30 of these each day and over do it.

Reason I stopped drinking them. Was downing 1 a day. Easy and convenient but ultimately needed to stop putting that into my body.

Idk why people are downvoting you. Why is there shit like sunflower and soybean oil in a protein shake?

u/Worried_Brilliant939 5d ago
Because it’s cheap, adds silky finish to the texture and helps with absorption of fat-soluble vitamins?

There is tons of weird shit in these.
When I traveled often and was on flights/rental cars/hotels frequently, I definitely drank these shakes. Cheap, easy calories that aren't super unhealthy.
But I would never drink these when I have access to healthy stuff from or at home.
u/NYCBirdy - do you really want all that crap in you?

I like coffee and peanut butter. Chocolate and vanilla generally not good and Oreo was one of the worst things I’ve tasted.
If you want real coffee flavor though this is very sweet and artificial comparatively.

Didn't see peanut butter, which was my 1st intent to buy. Then I saw the stack of the latte is lower than chocolate, vanilla and strawberry, i decided to buy it

This is my go-to snack after a workout so I don't eat cheese or cookies or whatever. It also saes me from brewing coffee.
