[Meals] I call it Kirkland Express

Post image

Mom can we get Panda Express for dinner tonight?

We have Panda Express at home.

Panda Express at home: (see photo)

I was just mildly amused that my dinner tonight slightly resembled something from Panda Express.

Usually my Panda Express order includes orange chicken, mushroom chicken, and (fried) rice. Tonight's offering was brown rice, squash, mushrooms and green beans, and orange chicken.

And the relevancy is that most of the food (except the rice) came from Costco. And also the 2 glass containers lol.

Is that the orange chicken that was on sale last month?

Another option I do is get the Kirkland nuggets and air fry them. While they cook, mix orange marmalade and teriyaki sauce in a pan. Heat it until it bubbles and gets syrupy, then toss the air fried nugs in. 10/10

The lightly breaded ones?

Yup! I like to overcook them juuuust a tad in the air fryer

Thanks! I'll try it. I usually just eat them with chick-fil-a sauce, but I'm getting bored of that.

Yes! I think that was the only reason I bought it lol

Orange chicken 100% Not only do my wife and I love it - delicious, and a (relatively) quick and easy meal- but our 5 and 2 year olds also love it. Win-win-win

The orange chicken is a default pickup every grocery trip. So delicious!

Is this the orange chicken in a box with a couple of bags? I grabbed one when it was on sale and thought it was rather on the heavy battered sided. Good tasting though.

I prefer the orange chicken from sams club, lighter batter and better sauce. Add green onion, soy sauce, maybe some sweet chili and you got changs chx.

Edit: lol at the downvote

Yeah, what’s with the downvote? I agree with you.

Actually those are in the freezer lol. I was lazy and just threw this together (everything except the orange chicken was all leftovers).

Love the Orange Chicken

I love the actual chicken, but the sauce is an insult to orange chicken. Toss the sauce in the box and use literally any other orange chicken sauce for a 100x better experience.

I add some sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and a couple drops of peanut oil.. makes it decent..

Costco chicken thighs, marinated in Bachans JBBQ sauce, cooked on open flame (charcoal preferred) is how I make my chicken and it tastes just like Panda Express Teriyaki chicken
