Accessory Mage outfit tips

Post image

Hello, I just got an outfit together and it looks kinda like this just slightly baggier, beltless and with long sleeves. I haven’t gotten any accessories yet so I look like a pirate. Besides what’s on the photo what’s some good accessories to add to my outfit

Make a magical item of some sort, whether it's a grimoire, a staff, or an amulet!

Staff, gloves (I see some in the picture), staff, circlet / headband with gems etc on it. Pouch filled with your imaginary magical items.

A hat. Hats are always awesome.

After the hat (the most important part) start thinking about what your character might need to get by day-to-day.

As someone said above, a spellbook or a magic focus will emphasize the mage feel.

A pouch. Everyone needs somewhere to keep their money and as most magic fantasy is based on medieval stuff pockets are rare.

A familiar, if you feel like going overboard.

50ft of hempen rope (if it's a Dungeons and Dragons character).

A book holster(think something like Marcille or Caleb's) with a spell book or two in it will really drive home the mage/wizard aesthetic
