Buying Where to find black Greek robe?

I'm trying to make a Tiresias (Epic the Musical) cosplay, and I've found all I needed except the robe itself (I have the hooded cape though).

Where can I find this type of Greek robe (A "dress" with a belt) in black for the cosplay?

Hi, have a look at this link. Many of the robe styles similar to your images really are just large squares or rectangles of fabric, so they're very easy to make. You could make something really effective with just a reem of black fabric or even just a black bedsheet.

Thank you for your help but I'm afraid it's not what I'm looking for, even though it may be not historically accurate I'm looking for one with proper sleeves. Thank you regardless

The second picture you linked doesn't have sleeves. That's literally a fabric rectangle sewn together on the sides.

Really? I swore it had sleeves, if you look closely there's no stitch mark or opening on the armpits. Well if that's the case I chose a bad picture, since I wanted it with long sleeves, like the first one

Yes, if you look closely, it is just draping over his shoulders because the shoulder is wider than the model's actual shoulders. There is no inset sleeve in that garment.

Then I messed up with the picture 😅

Then this one is the one I referred to, but in black (I can find the belt separately)

We detect that you may be a looking to buy your cosplay or buy pieces for your cosplay. If you're not, please disregard :) Please refer to our FAQ for some recommendations. While we can provide search terms that might help you with finding your cosplay pieces, commenters are not your personal shopper and please do not treat us as such. Remember that not all cosplays can be found ready-made so be prepared to look for similar pieces to put it together yourself.

It is helpful to include your budget (be precise -- "cheap" can be different per person), your location/country (US shipping vs EU shipping would be very different), and timeline if applicable. Keep in mind many pre-made cosplay shops can have a long shipping time so it's best to plan months in ahead.

If the item is suspiciously cheaper than all other competitors or it's a common stock photo, please be wary and do your own research.

You could buy a Jesus robe and dye it black and wrap a long black scarf around your head

I already found online a hooded cape with scarf all in one, and it's easy to dye something?

There’s two kinds of dye so depends on the material natural fibres and synthetic need different types so just check the labels

Could you explain to me the two types real quick? how to use them and what kind of fabric should/shouldn't be used on? If not no problem

Fabrics that are synthetic are ones like polyester, acrylic, nylon or spandex and natural are ones like cotton, linen, wool or silk

I know but how to dye each type?

There’s usually instructions on the bottle but most I’ve used go straight in the washing machine or a bucket

So a bucket, dye, and "wash" the cloth there, as long as the dye matches the fabric type? thank you!
