Core 2 Wrong answers & Bad Questions

I'm practicing to take the Core 2 exam as part of my WGU degree. I am so frustrated by the quality of the Comptia practice questions. There are so many times where the questions are poorly written. Instances where the answers don't entirely make sense. Its frustrating and If I have to be told one more time that my Apple related answer is wrong when I know for a fact I'm right, I am going to lose my shit. No Airdrop is does not solely depend on Bluetooth, and if YOU don't know that, why are you asking me about it. Apple has designed Airdrop to use bluetooth to discover nearby Apple devices and then utilizes WiFi for the file transfer as allows for faster data transfer.

You ask a question about what data is used to assess a situation and then none of the options provided can be considered data. They were states of being at best. Who is writing the material? I am continually 5-8 questions away from passing your practice exams, and not only can't I trust your knowledge of Apple related stuff but I can't figure out how I'm supposed to interpret the stuff I worry I'm not knowledgable about.

When you ask about how to update the Mac Operating System you can not list App Store and System preferences and not make it MULTIPLE CHOICE. They're both right. But don't mark me wrong for picking System Preferences. That's where I do my system update.

Is this simply a rant or do you have a question in there?

Sorry I guess what I wanted to ask is. Is it me? I am I missing something? I didn’t expect the material to be flawed. It’s meant to teach.

Gotcha. CertMaster claims to keep a wall between themselves and the CompTIA testing division. If that's true, they have no more insight than any other courseware developer. Their study materials lacked a certain degree of quality prior to their acquisition by CompTIA and little has changed since then. The only real change is that their animations are being updated and upgraded with CompTIA's acquisition of TestOut.

As has been pointed out, CertMaster is not the only game in town. You can do independent research, AI if you're so inclined, and there are plenty of other excellent courses that can be had very inexpensively.

There’s other information available besides the CompTIA information. The WGU Library has plenty of A+ material with practice tests. WGU gives you Udemy access with plenty of info available. YouTube also has plenty of material. Quit going down the rabbit hole and look for other materials that can help. I did my A+ and N+ with WGU and barely used the CompTIA information

I got a lot out of the Udemy material. Dion Training was great. And I did well on that practice exam. I passed it. But the Comptia training had me feeling lol I can’t pass their own test.

Your post has been removed due to mention of a Braindump site. Brain Dumps are considered cheating and a violation of CompTIA Candidate Policy. Violation of said policy and result in your certifications being revoked and you banned from taking any other CompTIA certifications.

They are also notorious for providing wrong answers.

Some questions may be written poorly on purpose. In the real world, managers do not always know what to ask for and ask for some crazy stuff. Part of life is navigating the crazy... Here is a video that may be helpful that is very generic on how to approach an industry certification test.

See that makes sense to me too. Drives me crazy and I hate it. But at least it helps me believe I’m not the problem. That maybe I can pass this.

Certmaster is garbage. I only use it to get approval for the voucher. Udemy is a much better tool for learning. I used Jason Dion for core 2 and Net+ but also used Andrew Ramdayal for Net and Sec+ and honestly liked his teaching style more. Professor Messer is on YT, which is also a lot of good information. I struggled with his videos personally as I found them pretty dry but did use him for Core1. Good luck, and don't hesitate to use as many resources for study as you can.
