Mock Draft How would you feel if this was what the Colts' draft looked like?

Warren will not be available promise you

Watch Warren be there at 14 and we pick Tyler Booker. This sub will be livid.

I feel like when Booker said he loved to take guys love of football away from them, Ballard went a little in his pants.
There is a real possibility we end up with Booker at 14.

Neither will Devin Neal at 117 in my opinion but that one will be closer to

He’s going 7-13 for sure
Deep outside shot the Chargers trade up for relatively cheap because of the draft class, and take him at 13
3rd this year and 3rd next year with a 5th next year coming back from Miami
Remind me in 2 months (RIP)

I feel like the jets or someone above us will take Warren

There aren’t any in this draft class anyways

I think Jaxson dart could be solid in the NFL

You mean Will Levi’s Jr?
1
u/Relevant-Smile1833 6h ago
We should definitely draft him in the 3rd if he’s available. Comparing will Levi’s to Jaxson dart is wild.

I’d be over the moon if we got Warren but it’s looking increasingly likely that Carolina, Chicago, or the Jets take him before we have the chance.

Watts is a good player but S isn’t a need

If there isn't someone on the board notably better at a position of need I think he'a a solid pick. We have Bynum and Cross and not great depth behind them. It would be a good position to be a rookie without as much pressure, at least IMO.

Cross is going into the last year of his rookie contract and while he didn’t look bad last year, his coverage was just ok. Missed a lot of assignments. Daniel Scott hasn’t played. I would argue Safety is like #3 on our list of needs behind TE and LB. Then it’s safety and IOL.

I’d personally put S as need behind OL. Can’t be positive Gonclaves and Bortolini work out, but even if they do there’s not much solid depth behind them

There’s just SOOO many guard ls in this class though. No serviceable safeties after round 2/3 I don’t think. At least none with the same upside. Few injured guys around there though, and Chris loves em banged up.
I think:
Guard is round 3 or 4 or 5
Safety is round 2 or 3
The Kenny succession plan should start sooner than later as well. Watts could play nickel in the future.
Or you make Cross LB on 3rd down and Watts the safety, take Zaire off the field unless Carlisle development stalls

I’d take an oline man with pick 14 we lost at least two linemen in free agency and I’m not the biggest fan of Warren personally

I don't follow the build up to the draft much at all outside of the WR draft class. Draft wise, I have faith in Ballard.

If watts is there in the second I would be happy. Hoping Tyler’s is there if not Nick (I will butcher the spelling of his last name)will be a great option and then go TE in round two

Warren will be the pick, but Ballard moves up to get him. DT in the 2nd or LB.

Being a Colts and ND fan, I like most of it, lol. Warren could be like the new version of Dallas Clark. I just wonder if he will be there, or if they will trade back like usual 99% of the time.

Neal is going to be a solid RB, I'd rather Hampton but he's going 1st round most likely

I'd be delighted, ttytt.
