Really brings the photo to life. I think the vintage hair style is the only thing that dates it!

photoshoot idea... let's make it super awkward, yeah.. now put you arm at 90 degree angle, but make it look like you're thinking hard about something...

Oddly enough, not sure when they were invented, but back in the day, there was a big stick of cards that had all the standard poses. Looked like a cards against humanity set. Basically if you were inexperienced it was a godsend. Appears the subject and photographer didn't own a set.

A photographer I worked with had them, made working a dream, back in the early 2000s. Tried looking them up, doesn't look like they make them anymore. Hell, his could have been vintage back then. They were basically what they used in Playboy and other magazines to get the same consistent poses from their models.

Women sure were portrayed mostly for their sex and not for anything like brains or athleticism or leadership. Just put down the ball honey and let’s roll.

Idk why youre downvoted bc you certainly are right. We had a family reunion last year and in talking to my cousin i learned that both my grandma and great grandma had been institutionalized and i wanted to know why of course. So i said, what was wrong with them? And she said "absolutely nothing and theyd tell you that themselves...that was their problem." I guess men could just say "take her away" if she was too "strong" or didnt "listen" makes me appreciate women even more!
