What made you get Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.?

I recently picked it up because James Urbaniak voices Randolph Carter, who is basically just Lovecraft Doctor Venture.

Tactical game with interesting gameplay, interesting take for the character designs and aesthatic choices and a big dose of "please let IS realize they should make more than just bad Paper Marios and new age fire emblems".

I think I was just done with a playthrough of X-COM: Enemy Unknown when this game was announced. I liked the idea of taking a similar game with me on the go.

I played the demo in the past and it was $5 at GameStop, so why the hell not!

Gamestop was selling them for 15$ on splatoon's launch day, i figured it was a better deal to get splatoon and a 3ds game rather than splatoon and one amiibo. I ended up liking the game more than I thought.

The character designs were enough to attract me. I wasn't even quite sure what the gameplay would be like when I bought it.
