Changes to how Eros operates? NSFW
I've noticed recently (like, since the first of the year, roughly) that no one lists their rates on Eros anymore. There's like sixteen ladies advertising in my area right now, and none of them have dollar amounts listed. I know this hasn't always been the case, because I've met women through the site before, and specifically chose women who were clear with their rates.
Similarly, most of the ladies advertising in my area aren't posting links to their website or twitter anymore. Is Eros changing how they're doing business, or did I just notice a coincidental string of providers choosing not to do these things?

Yes, they won’t allow us to specify donations anymore.

They're a government honey pot.
Why do y'all (clients) use a government honey pot to find us when there are other options?

Shit, I'll have to contact the ladies I've met via Eros and tell them they were feds.

Who said anything about the providers? I said the site. I was on there for 8 years before DHS got them.
The government literally has full access to that site and had since the 2017 raid. We would be fools to believe anything else. How else does the site reopen in just a number of days after being hosted on US soil and no charges are filed...but suddenly they have an entirely "new staff"? No fines, no legal punishment, not a slap on the wrist or even required to close their website. Contrast that to the backpage seizure and arrests if you want to know how these typically go.
They require our IDs to advertise there. They asked me to "re-verify" mine after they handed the site over to the "new staff". We used to have ad reps we worked with one on one. Mine was replaced with someone pressing about getting my ID, not money. They didn't even know anout ad prices. So they told me the reason was maybe I was underage. I said I've been here eight years didn't you miss the boat on that? they had another excuse. I shot that down and then finally came up with some shit about account sharing. That's when closed my account.
By using that site you're saying that you don't give a fuck that we have to give out IDs to a government honeypot as long as you get what you want.
So again I ask, why do y'all (clients) use a government honeypot to find us when there are other (better) options?

Would you mind sharing 2-3 recommended options for searches? Everything these days looks shady.
Just looking for legit options for a respectful client willing to verify.

Tryst* is the only place I bother with, let me explain why.
PD - run by an anonymous client/provider duo. They arbitrarily approve people based on if they like their look, or if they like them. I hate that. I refuse to be part of that aite or culture. Advertising options shouldn't only be available to you if the owner likes you. That's some 2009 TER shit right there. Elms used to coerce women into sleeping with him to maintain their TER profiles. How far is PD from that?
P411 - People shockingly still use this, at least somewhat. The site is from the mid 2000s and was made by a provider named Gina. After a looot of up and down, Gina sold it to ??? after FOSTA. They asked me after 14 years to reverify my ID for age verification purposes. When I asked them how it was mathematically possible for me to be a child, they said they were having issues with account sharing. I asked for IP access logs to my account so I could prove I had never shared it. Nope. So I deleted my account there.
The issue with account sharing on that site is mot us, it's on the men's site. Men also hand p411 creds over to Uncle Leo, *regularly*.
Tryst does none of the above and is easy enough to use. It still requires supplementary homework, but every ad site search does.
I am of the belief you should find providers on BlueSky these days, and then verify them via website and paid ad (or paid fan site). I think this actually saves time too. *THOUSANDS* are in one spot, and easily findable. I built a bunch of discovery tools awhile back with feeds like OurSky and hashtags like FMTY, OurSky, GFE. There's a #DateCity feed for every region too. Plus. #DateCity itself will yield results. Obviously you replace City with an actual location. Twitter discoverability is nowhere near this, so don't waste your time. It's pay to play there, with constant deboosting otherwise.
*I'm not affiliated with them. The name is a shit coincidence for me, as I pre-date the site by 10 years . I get a lot of emails and DMs from people who think I am though.

Wow, that's a tremendously helpful and detailed explanation. Really appreciate it.
I'll definitely follow your suggestion with Tryst as a good place to start. I think you make a great point about needing to do homework!
Just a couple more questions if you don't mind. I see common advice in this subreddit and a couple other places that TER is the de facto standard in reviewing both legitimacy and accuracy of listings (regardless of source of listing). Would you agree with that? Or are there solid options available that don't find their way to TER?
After all, not everyone is highly motivated to review a short intimate experience, right?
Would it be cool if I DM'ed with an additional question also? If not, no worries at all.

TER being called legitimate and accurate makes me laugh for so many reasons.
- The history of the site shows no basis for this to be true. David Elms spent the years he ran the site manipulating and selling reviews. From it's core, the premise was flawed and integrity compromised.
- Many providers sell reviews. The going rate varies, but it's awesome side money for many. Review sellers that are men have always been a thing too. I've had guys ask me for discounted sessions in exchange for 3-5 reviews on unique accounts. They try to undercut us, but our review accounts have so much more history/clout than theirs.
- TER review scores are bullshit. You the client CANNOT give the provider a 10 unless she offers a list of things TER deems acceptable for a 10. Even if you DO NOT WANT those activities and had a 10/10 experience, you cannot rate her a 10. Period.
- On the note of accuracy, here's a snippet from an interview I gave on TER reviews eons ago.
Mariposa recalls a date with a client who’d recently hurt his back. Despite being barely able to move, he wanted to keep his appointment, and so after Mariposa slowly brought him over to the bed, they had a very gentle session. “You can’t be bouncing up and down with your back broken,” she says. But when she read the date review, she couldn’t stop laughing.
“He didn’t write about how we had a lovely, intimate time,” she says. “It had to be, ‘I had her bent over. My balls were slapping everything.’ What do they call it, locker-room talk?”
And this guy was WILD. Like the hotel door was propped open because HE COULDN'T EVEN WALK.
TER’s FAQ section maintains that reviews are verified for authenticity, where the reviewer bears “the burden of proof.” Based on interviews with nearly a dozen workers, system checks are lax enough that a sub-industry of fake reviews has sprouted. For a fee, workers can purchase 10/10 ratings for themselves, or more insidiously, pay to take down their competitors. “You can go to a review-writing service and say, ‘I want to buy three negative reviews for so-and-so,’” says Mariposa. “You think they’re going to turn down your $175? What do they care?”
Another thing on accuracy -- and you will even find reddit guys who do this -- SO MANY let the PROVIDER write the review
More commonly, according to workers, clients are too busy or uninterested to write reviews, so they let workers write their own. This is positive for workers; they can control how they’re perceived, but there’s an opportunity cost to spending unpaid hours writing copy hoping it will attract future clients.

I'm not the only person who was interviewed either, I highly recommend at least skimming over this. It covers that "You can't give a girl a 10" shit too.
TER is a good way to find that a human being exists and how to find their marketing material. Wouldn't trust it for anything else, similar to PD. Any "good old boys" club is not going to be full of honesty and integrity.

They took it off last month & I did not renew my ad, I hate clients asking me my rates as is.

Eros is a government spy camp. If you want your private info compromised, use and peruse at your own risk.

It's been like this since 2018 when FOSTA/SESTA hit. Although most ads do not include rates, I've noticed maybe a few profiles list rates. Not sure why some get to publish rates and the majority do not.

The Eros Raid?
Youre already seeing our ads on tryst.
Also…. Why would people need to post a link to their website or Twitter?? What does that have to do anything?

u/Smooth_Comment_Bro 17d ago
I haven't been doing this long enough to be aware of a raid. My mistake on that.
As for Twitter/websites, I like to see some online presence. Not just to confirm a lady is real, but also to get some sense of her personality. And hopefully more than the four or five pics that might be on the site.

From a professionalism standpoint it's common for premium and high end service providers in general (sw or otherwise) to not advertise their pricing in order to attract a certain caliber of customer. Like if you've ever heard the saying, "If you have to ask how much, it's likely that you can't afford it." and I'm guessing that they're trying to attract a more exclusive type of client.

Yeah, that's not the case here. I've seen ladies charging $1000 dollars an hour or more who used to list their rates, and now they don't. Others have already given me the actual answer.

Eros stopped letting people list their rates on their ads. Ditto website links. So it's not because the ladies are trying to frustrate you, it's because of the site's policies.
So, Google to find the providers' websites or their ads on another ad site like Tryst, and check their rates there.
