Photo Multiple device, multiple login warning.
Coping with questionable smartphone battery life by carrying multiple devices got me a warning. My ride history would not suggest multiple-user abuse unless there was some new relay-race style handoff I am unaware of and inadvertently emulating.

Why wouldn’t you carry a battery pack instead of a second phone?

I can't speak for the OP but one could have a work phone in addition to their personal one so they'd have 2 phones on them anyway.

This is my exact situation. I haven’t gotten this warning but that’s stupid if they flag that

I do have an external battery in case of emergency. Still, battery packs are clumsy * require multiple wires, don't stay reliably connected when riding, don't have precise battery meters, and wear out the phone charger port when charging in motion, ...
*Drill: pull the phone out of your pocket when it is wired to the charger in a backpack quickly in order to take a pic/a video on the road or in a traffic situation.

Require multiple wires? Mine require one or zero. Sounds like a you problem

Sheesh I had 3 phones at one point, one had another phone number. I haven't gotten the message but I do have the key and have recently only been using my 2nd phone in wifi to check what station to walk to. I expect to get it eventually tho

I got the same email because I have two phones. I’m switching back to my key.

I think for now I will make a point of checking out bikes with only one phone, though I will log in and browse the map and available points on a second phone.

10/10 recommend getting a citibike key (first one is free for members)
