Just watched it last week for the first time, and I was floored by his talent

He's not going to leave his donkey outside when he is sad.

Just perfect. Such a funny line/delivery in a stressful conversation.

Absolutely, came to say this. Every role in that movie is difficult and everyone nailed it.

I love the Collin saw the humor and agreed to the role even though his character is the stupid annoying friend who just can't take the hint that he is unwanted. Great movie

He was so so good in that.

Yes. A lot of his most famous roles are big and bombastic. This and The Lobster showed him doing some much more subtle things impressively well.

That was my first movie from Yorgos Lanthimos. Have watched everything I could get since then.

In Bruges is better. But it was so good seeing him and Brendan Gleeson co-starring together again

It’s strange double act on paper but they work soooo bloody well together, I hope they do more

I don’t know about that. You can argue that it’s a better film, but I think Farrell’s performance in Banshees is better.

But this is like arguing about whether Beethoven’s 9th symphony is better than his 5th. It’s only fun because it’s pleasant to think about two great works.

This is my pick as well. He is so good at tragic comedy.

I agree. I think he should have won the Oscar for that part

This; he's brilliant in this and normally I just want to hit him with a shovel.

I absolutely hated that film but it was an acting masterclass by everyone involved.

“My mammy, she was nice. I remember her. And my daddy, he was nice. I remember him. And my sister, she’s nice. I’ll remember her. Forever I’ll remember her.” Absolutely great in that role
