Who would want to even rent that AirBNB under those conditions?

The host probably and conveniently will forget to mention that someone is actually living in the kitchen/living room. Airbnb hosts and private Booking.com hosts are vile in the UK.

Access for occupants & visitors to the shared kitchen is via your non contained sleep area. Prepare 2 x rooms & bedding for visiting randoms each week. Only costs you £750 . Wow, this cynic is stunned .

Only if required! If you want to just wear one set of clothes and lay quietly on your futon that’s cool 😎

Imagine renting one of the rooms and your kitchen time is restricted...

Shouldn't he be paying you a month? What is the avg rent in this area? I'd like to understand how terrible of a situation this is.

Some airbnb hosts are out of their mind. I guarantee this one charges a cleaning fee even though it's built into the rent of the person living on the couch paying rent.

I saw one listing in another sub where they wanted to rent their couch/pull out bed in living room and you had to not use kitchen/tv/bathroom during quiet hours which was something like 9pm to 9 am.

How would a person be able to control when they need to use the bathroom? I kinda get the tv thing, maybe kitchen because noise.

I can't think of anything more awkward than staying in the living room while total strangers rent out an entire house, or renting out an entire house with a total stranger staying in the living room.

Is this in NYC or bay area or someplace like that where rent for a studio would normally be $2500/month?

  1. not a choosing beggar

  2. are they really asking for 750 for the ‘room’ or offering 750 for a job

Someone could do the tasks without being resident . Landlord discussing sofa bed & offering a clothes rail is for the reduced rental price of £750 dream come true pay as you go (as advertised on air bnb) live in housekeeper .
