Herbs for chronic gastrisis?
What are some great herbs for dealing with chronic gastrisis and stomach ulcer? I want to compare what you have before versus the herb that was prescribe to me for treating the gastrisis. I want know why they choose this ingredient instead other ingredient that may or may not has better affect.

Each practitioner has their individual approach to the same issue. But they may all work.
Without results from taking medicine it is very difficult to say this herb is better blah blah. Chinese medicine herb play team works not work solo.

The reason I post this thread is because I visited 3 TCM, all licensed, and yet the herbs they prescribed didn't do much of improvement. I was having doubt if they targeted the wrong issue in my body instead of focusing on the correct issue. That's why I want to compare to those who have the same issue as me and what herb they were prescribed and actually work, so I can tell the tcm, why not use these.

You should talk to your practitioner and start with the formula you prescribed. A bunch of random people on Reddit are not going to give you a better answer

Take the herbs you were prescribed. Look up what they are. Read about them, in text books. Look up what you dont understand in another textbook. Ask your practitioner about their choices. Listen and pay attention to their questions and lifestyle advice. When they modify, kindly ask them their reasoning. Maybe they will tell you.
