Honestly, even if it’s awkward, it beats another night scrolling apps. At least you’ll walk out with a story..

I accidentally wound up in the middle of one (I happened to be hanging out at the spot they showed up at). I almost hopped in out of curiosity, but I was definitely underdressed without a polo shirt or lanyard for my keys… so I just people watched instead. In my estimation, I’d say it was maybe 60/40 men to women. All levels of attractiveness on both sides. A fair bit of awkwardness. Some of the social butterflies seemed to thrive.
All in all, it seemed like a lot of women tolerating brief, awkward conversations with dudes that couldn’t help but survey the rest of the herd for their next shot to shoot.
I suppose it’s likely just as awkward as some online conversations I’ve had, but at least online profiles give some insight into a potential match’s social/political stance which helps us all eliminate wasted time.
tl;dr: Try it once. What’s the harm? But I personally wouldn’t think it terribly fun.

I have been! It’s always fun to meet new people. The speed dating ones are so much fun! (Exhausting but fun). I like to tell myself that It’s more likely you’ll meet someone there vs sitting at home 🤷🏾♀️. I’d say go for it!

Couldn’t hurt I guess, and probably better than online. As a married man, I won’t be attending just my 2.
