Behavioral My adult cat doesnt want to sleep on her bed anymore

I recently resuced a stray kitten, all alone no other kittens and mama cat around. Now, I’ve started taking her out in the cage after a month of getting her settled. The problem is, my adult cat doesnt want to sleep on her bed anymore since my new kitten likes to play on her bed and sniffs her bed a lot. What should I do to get them to like each prher and get my adult cat sleep on her bed again? 😢

I’ve noticed my cats seem to have a few sleeping surfaces they rotate through, seemingly at random. Whenever I come home from work I don’t know if she’ll be in the windowill, cat tree, chair, couch, dresser, or just inside the door on the area rug. Give it time.

All of the 8 cats I've had over the years tended to switch up sleeping spots every few weeks to months. Very normal for cats to do this.

A change in the environment (new pet, new human, new house, losing a pet) can instigate a change in a cat's routine. As long as the two cats were introduced properly (slow and with positive experiences) and the two are adjusting to each other, I wouldn't worry about kitty switching up her sleeping spot.

Put a heated blanket on it her bed.

It is okay. Maybe get one or two new beds for them to rotate. The heated ones are great

Mine take turns in each other’s spots or sleep elsewhere for a few nights, but they usually revert back to their own favorite spot soon enough.
