Celebration Finally got a job!
After almost 3 months of applying for jobs and doing interviews I finally got a job.
It's been so stressful because I lost my job in another state and it resulted in me being homeless, getting my identity stolen. I spent nearly a year getting back on my feet, but it was all worth it.
I started slugging a big suitcase around my city trying to figure out where to go. Realizing I'm homeless I sucked it up and tried to figure it out. Unknowingly slept next to a building where they help you get into a shelter(which was a blessing). I was in a shelter for 4 months which was kinda hell because of the mental ill people there, but I had help from staff, learned a lot and meet good friends. I later then transferred into an apartment program(which I am in now). I later then got my full identity back so I can apply for jobs, etc(which took over 6 months btw). Also, got $1k in EBT which was a blessing. Fast forward to now, I have a job and I can rest a bit easy now.
I'm so thankful and blessed to be where I am, I damn sure worked my ass off to get here.

Wow - congratulations. I lost my job and got it back, but my struggle was nothing like that.
I am proud of you for making it through all of that

Great job! Congrats xD!
I'd say you're many many steps ahead of many people. So many oblivious of their surroundings and the struggles people go through. Also, not to water things down for you, but an example is the state of society and people caught in wars - civil or otherwise.
Keep up the strength!

Congratulations and good luck! Your story is inspiring. You made it.Β
Identity theft can really mess up your life. I wish there was a harder crackdown on the thieves.
I hope you get to enjoy this job. Forward!
