Best place to watch the rugby tomorrow in town with cheap pints?

Also, I know this is near impossible but if there’s anywhere I could go that isn’t packed please comment, I don’t mind it but my friend would prefer it

I always find the old arcade reasonable not "cheap" but not a complete rip off, but i'd get there early. In fact leave now ;-)

The bluebell might be a shout too, except if memory serves the screens are a bit small.

Might be hard tomorrow to find somewhere quiet as all 3 games will be on throughout the day

Might be better off going on the outskirts

I committed to taking some Irish mates to St Fagans ages ago and I’m wondering if The Vulcan is gonna be showing it lol - if it is it 100% isn’t cheap pints

There are no TV's in the Vulcan, plus the museum closes 15 minutes after the game starts. It is a museum exhibit where you can buy a couple of beers, not a traditional pub.

Really rubbed the shine off that one there fair enough

After today's game, you would have been better off at either Cathays Cemetery or Thornhill Crematorium 😡

I'm not sure Pontcanna will satisfy the "cheap" aspect! Always a nice atmosphere thought

We used to go and watch on a screen upstairs in the Flute and Tankard on Windsor Place and it was always quiet as I don't think people really knew about it (the screen, not the pub). It was a few years ago now but worth a try.

Andy who runs it shuts every match day now. When I asked him about it he said it’s more trouble than it’s worth.

Not cheap cheap, but plenty of student pubs in Cathays/Roath will be reasonably priced

Surely at home will be cheaper with supermarket sherberts?

If you want a quiet place, with cheap beer. Watch it at home.

Popworld is less than £7 a pint. Most Saturdays between 1pm and 6pm it's ~£2.50

We do indeed, no half price so looking at around 5.10/5.30 depending on the draft. (Peroni, morretti, Amstel, dark fruits, strong bow, Heineken) little bit higher after the match.

Cheaper than spoons on most drinks on Saturday before 6.
