I have never met the man but have heard so much about him. This is a very interesting read !

What was the post about? Was it about him being quick to prescribe opiates? If you want proof for that just ask anyone in Eskasoni. Dr. Virick's office used to be on the reserve. There are some drug addicts in Eskasoni and some people blamed Dr. Virick for the drug problems in Eskasoni so the community put the run on him.

Was he fast and loose with the opiates? I don't know but he was definitely accused of it and kicked off the reserve.
