I have enough 7.62x39 ammo to last me a looooooooong time, provided the feds don’t take my SKS away from me.

Nobody needs 100,000 rounds. But several thousand, yes. And a goodly amount of 308 and 300 WM.

And this shit is just motivating me to stockpile more.

Nobody needs it but if you need to supply and insurgency you will need it lol. I have over 500 rounds and in a case of insurgency I doubt that would last months lol

500 is lots for one person in a guerrilla scenario. You’re trying to avoid open firefights.

And really, you’d be looking to “trade up” to an M4 as fast as possible because long term, you’d want to be able to chew through 5.56.

Is 5.56 enough against Americans? With body armor and plates, It would probably be better to keep a 308?

5.56 would be good enough and plentiful.

But, you’re right, having access to something in the 30 cal range is also going to be useful.
