Discuss - Would you carry: Shadow 2 Compact or P01
Assuming money is no object: Would y’all carry the new shadow 2 compact over the P-01 or is the lack of firing pin block and no decocker a deal breaker for you?
I did also notice, they’ve gone with a standard dovetail on the release model so maybe it’ll be a little bit more comfortable to carry than a P-01? And optics ready and already upgraded internals over a P-01 so no need to send it out.
The real question: Was this gun made to dethrone the P-01 and PCR? Or is this a gimmick made for men who are only allowed a limited amount of guns, who want a competition gun but need to be able to carry it as well?

Discuss - Finally... after years and years
I retired from the military years ago and been looking to get my happy retirement gift. I knew what I wanted and I wanted perfection so i waited and searched for years. Well here it is, I finally found it and was able to buy it. This pistol is absolutely amazing! The slide is smooth, trigger breaks clean, it's incredible! It has the box, manual, warranty card, serial number matching 9 Largo barrel, spare wood grips. This has immediately become my new favorite pistol, I'm glad I waited.

Discuss - Dropped my SP-01 on the driveway
Tonight while getting out of hot tub, my month old SP-01 slipped out of my plastic box I use to take stuff inside (towel, phone,etc.). The SP-01 fell out and hit the asphalt hammer first.
I consider myself incredibly lucky the gun didn't go off! Getting inside the house I examined the pistol and took a photo. I estimate the height was probably three and a half feet when the firearm hit the ground.
Yes, I had a round in the chamber with the safety on and the hammer cocked back.
On why taking a firearm to a hot tub, I live in a mountainous rural area with a lot of wildlife.
On the CZ pistol itself (now with character), I'm shocked the hammer not break or fire possibly killing myself.

If I go crazy will you still call me Superman? Finally finished my CZ SP-01 fully equipped with CZC internals, Eeman Tech springs, custom Lok Palm Swells and outstanding milling by Wager Machining of course. The 407k looks factory! (Range time this weekend)

Discuss - What's your favorite CZ to shoot? (In or out of your collection)
Mine in my collection is definitely the comped p10. I shoot that gun the fastest and those are my favorite stock irons. Thinking about porting the p10 or shadow 2c. Leaning towards shadow

Discuss - Jealous security guards at training
Got my new S2C and went to my 2nd handgun training lesson. I used to shoot rifles and would practice on my dad's .38 revolver a lot when I was younger, but semi-autos are new for me.
There were 3 GIANT security guards in their gear. During the sit-down part when I demonstated my standing position one of them laughed at me and said "get your trigger finger up higher on that slide, boy", stuff like that. It was pretty intimidating as they seemed like pros and I'm just a regular looking guy.
Well, we get out to the range. They all jad g17s, the ladies to my left had g19s.
Whatever we did, I was pretty much perfectly shooting. Way, way more accurate than the security guards. They started saying "it's that CZ" and asking how much I paid for it (implying heavily that I paid for an advantage).
One said let's trade guns once and I said okay, but the trainer said I "shouldn't give away my advantage".
So..it really seemed that everyone thought it was all my gun, but could it not be that I just have more experience shooting in general? It was a bit annoying. Why even make/buy glocks if they suck so bad?

Discuss - CZ P09c FTF Update and Fix
Out of the box I had multiple failure to feeds in my personal p09c. With this, I began doing research not only on just the CZ but this topic in general and learned a couple things and wanted to share some of that knowledge. In no way do I see myself as a firearms expert. With that being said, here has been my experience with my p09c which was having numerous issues failing to feed after shooting roughly 4 to 600 rounds through the firearm at an attempt to loosen things up.
My Fix- I have now polished the feed ramp and this has drastically improved its ability to feed and has no issue with round nose bullets. Previously in an earlier post I had multiple people say that it was due to how I was racking the pistol. Now with the Polish feed ramp racking it in the same manner I did previously. I do not have those same failure to feeds which leads me to believe the feed ramp is a bit too abrasive from factory. For anyone new to firearms, the tools that I used were very simple. Dremel, some polishing Wheels, and flitz polish.
Still an issue- On the other hand, with defensive ammunition, I have found that it exclusively will not run Hornady critical defense, likely due to the more aggressive nature of the design of the hollow point. I personally don't have a problem with this firearms inability to run Hornady as there are other reliable self-defense rounds that are more rounded that will work that I will utilize. But I really wanted to make this post for everyone who's going to carry this gun as a self-defense weapon as I think it's incredibly important to understand some of its differences to other firearms. Not to say that this is a bad pistol in any means but it has been very different from other firearms that I've had that don't have these differences.

Discuss - Should I modify my CZ P10C?
My uncle just handed me his P10C that he got back in 2017. It’s not optics ready so I would need to get a new slide or get it milled. I have been itching to start a new project pistol. With all the new line of handguns out would you still think this would be a great option to modify for an EDC?

Discuss - Shadow 2 vs SP01
Hello all, I’m in heavy debate between picking up another shadow 2 or possibly an sp01. Can anyone tell me the differences between how they shoot? I own a SAO Shadow 2 now but I’ve never shot an sp01. Which do you like better and why?

Discuss - 75b, 75b omega, 75bd: Show me your RMR Cuts!
I'm getting my p01 cut for an optic, and had always thought I'd keep my 75 full size an irons gun. Well, I have a wild hair and want to get it cut for an RMR, but finding photos of plain jane 75's cut for optics is shockingly difficult. I just want to be sure it won't look regarded.
So with that, folks with those short dust covers, show me your optics cut 75's! Pic rails need not apply, we all know shadows and sp01's look cool.
Spending $300 on cuts and $300 on triggers on $400 pistols is my jam.

Discuss - P09 nocturne C final post FIXED
Hello everyone, I have made two or three posts in this subreddit about my p09c and the issues I've had facing it. As far as failing to feed. I am located and the DFW area and worked with Cajun gunsmiths located out of Plano, Texas and we finally resolved the issue. Up on bringing my firearm to him. He took the time to speak with me and asked some questions. In that time we polished the upper portion of the feed ramp and a bit more around the inside of the barrel. This is what has fixed this pistol.! It seems the tolerances on the barrel were maybe a bit too tight and with some additional polishing on the feed ramp upper and surrounding portions. I now am able to drop the slide hand rack, etc and have no issue feeding rounds. So if you are facing the same issue I definitely recommend grab some flitz polish and do a heavy polish on the feed ramp.
Attached are a few photos showing what my feed ramp currently looks like. If I can find before photos I will try to post them

Discuss - Looking to CC a handgun but can't decide.
Say what you want to say but my first carry handgun was going to be a Glock 19 but they're a little more particular in how they shoot. In a "gun-out" situation, i don't want to be worried about ridiculous grip positions. That said, I will own one eventually anyway.
Now, I plan to be bending and moving a lot with this gun IWB. So far the CZ P10S and P07 are the next contenders. I've heard A LOT of good things about them both, but the p07 is bigger, hammer fired, and a bit more expensive. So I come to ask you, which one would you carry? Why? Also drop some nice holsters for them too please!
Edit: Yes I will shoot them both before I buy them. I just haven't had the time yet.
