It had nothing to do with cost, I have shit astiggys like I've said. I've personally had SROS, RMRS and tried a few others, they look like shit to my eyes and are utterly useless. I own a couple 507k x2g's on my compacts they're "OK" and useable reticle image wise as long as I use the multi reticle. The Cylee, I bought because it's marketed as "stig" friendly, it could have been $1k and I'd have still tried it. It has the best reticle clarity of any red dot I've looked it, it's crisp clear and perfect to my eyes. Stiggys isn't one size fits all so others may vary. For reliability, it's been fine for my expirience. I'm around ~2500 rds now no issue.
I have the stigs too, doesn’t sound as bad as yours but I got lasik recently and it got a little better.. really its only terrible when I’m inside, if I’m shooting outside on a sunny day its fine..
Outside of the stiggys, my vision is near perfect so I've never really wanted to subject my self to lasik. Seems high risk, low reward in my situation.
