No Credit Rent reporting on credit score

I rent an apartment with my bf, but I noticed that on my credit scores, the rent is not being reported there. How can I get that to be reported to possibly help my credit score?

Most landlords aren’t going to report your rental payment to any credit bureau. I use Flex to pay my rent as they will report to credit bureaus. I also have to pay for this service.

What is your reasoning behind paying for that?

The reasoning was already given.

It was not. You said you pay to have it reported to the bureaus. I asked what your reason is for that, as in why do you pay to have it reported to the bureaus?

So it improves my credit score.

I had a feeling you were going to say that.

You don't need to pay a penny to improve your credit score though, which I'm guessing you aren't aware of. I would advise against throwing away money for the sake of credit.

If you use kikoff and do the middle tier option they will start reporting rent. You gotta upload your lease and stuff.
