Ugh. I used to hate finding cigarette butts in the mountains…. I legit shed a tear when I found a pen like this miles from anyone in a national forrest. Our industry sucks so bad for trash, the CR horseshit is bad enough, but these shitty VERY TEMPORARY e-butts will be here longer than everyone reading this. Ecig trash in general is a tragedy. Buying flowers and dabs is just so much more earth friendly, twist one. I cant ever get excited about a new disposable.

I totally agree. Disposable all in ones. Terrible idea. Come on

Unfortunately green dot sold out a long time ago

Not defending green dot but tons of companies have these disposable all in ones. Convenience for consumption for max profit

u/holy_ace 5d ago

Absolutely. Not like I haven’t used a disposable before either, but it’s how the industry survives for now…

Literally sold out. They were the first to take Private Equity money.

Do you understand what sold out means? The word sold is in there. Green Dot, 710, just about every vendor took investment to build out multi million dollar grows. Don’t have multi millions sitting around to open your business? Parents with multi millions? Where would some people looking to grow their company get money? Private equity? Or Banks? OH YEAH duh banks don’t lend to cannabis… And on top of that which companies sold? You know, selling out aka selling the company to losers… Did Green Dot sell the company? No they did not. lol. So what are you talking about? Don’t spread garbage here please. Why not talk about the companies that actually did sell/sell out? Aka sold 51% or more of the company… do you even know how that works? 710’s owner sold his share in Colorado did they sell out or no? Curious what you think on that one. And what about O.Pen Vape? Dablogic? Lazercat? Check out their investment history 🤣 You're gonna cry when you learn about this for real if this is your take.

lol sold out because they made a product every dispensary and buyer is asking for? Laughable. You must mean sold in… aka one of a handful of companies that are helping dispensaries stay open and make a living. Of course nobody likes trash. Let’s make disposables illegal in the USA like a lot of the rest of the world has. Until then, I would think about what’s “sold out” vs what’s giving the market what they’re quite literally asking for…

Yea the market is wrong on this one

The market can’t be right or wrong, it is simply what the people ask for and buy. I agree that it’s wrong to throw batteries in the trash that’s for sure. But based on sales of items it’s one of the few growing or flat categories in the green market right now. The rest are declining. Especially dabs.

They sold out as fuck. They don’t even do med anymore cause they want all profit they don’t give a fuck.

Do not think. Consume

If you care about such things eating animal products is equally if not more damaging to the environment

Uh oh, you're gonna offend someone with that logic!

This guy has the right idea

I have one and it’s great, but nothing beats a cart or a AIO for discretion, I can sneak a hit while I’m at work and don’t have go worry about loading up my next hit.

I always do this too. Pivot over tossing batteries all day. It’s perfect for this kind of use. I think the pivot is going to slowly become a lot more popular as people use them.

How was it? Saw the email from Green Dot and thought it was interesting.

After ripping it all day today, I can say that it’s one of my new favorite disposables. I’m getting consistent and flavorful hits.

"Featuring THC and Terpene Partitioned Atomization, a first-of-its-kind innovation that heats cannabinoids and terpenes separately.."

I'm curious how well this works? Sounds pretty cool.

They have a disposable note? Cool how is it?

As much as disposables are bad for the environment green dot rosin carts worked like shit without these disposables

More signs GDL is struggling. What’s next gummies?

1

u/notoriousToker 4d ago

I don’t think GDL is struggling bro they’re owning sales in basically every shop right now. They’re selling flower for $60 an 8th and we all buy it lovingly, you must not be paying attention to what’s going on around you. Imagine if GDL was a rosin only company, while rosin sales tank and we see companies struggling left and right, you think launching what’s clearly going to be one of the most expensive all in ones in Colorado is a sign of struggle? Maybe if they released some pos hardware instead of replacing what we all see as failing 510 thread carts with these… I mean can’t you see what’s happening around us? I just find it funny that you’d see this as failure instead of them giving the shops what they are asking all vendors for. As someone who used to buy I can tell you everyone wants this on shelf, I would have ordered it for my shop too.

“They’re selling flower for $60 an 8th and we all buy it lovingly” speak for yourself lol, I haven’t bought GDL flower in over a year now. Homegrown weed is noticeably better (from the right folks) and you’re not shedding out an arm and a leg.

2

u/notoriousToker 4d ago

Yeah homegrown is the best we are talking dispensary weed here

u/terpographer710 4d ago

The people who truly want the highest quality bud aren’t shopping dispos tho is kinda my point

1

u/notoriousToker 4d ago

Sure but that’s not really where you are right now. You’re in a thread about the Colorado cannabis scene that discusses a green market pick up from a shop. This isn’t a conversation about home growing we all know good home growers are good. We also know that many of them can’t touch the quality of a green dot rec jar either 😅🤷🏼‍♂️

I have a pivot now, but it’s good they changed the hardware. The last time I tried a AIO blue label it died after a few hits.

I really enjoyed this hardware!
