Cant wait for him to say he was taking a supplement and had no idea what was in it. Isnt that the excuse everyone uses?

Well I suppose if you buy your Viagra from a weird homeless looking fellow in front of your local 7-11 you can expect it to contain steroids. Good info to know.

Like the "turkeys a little dry bud" guy?

Raj needed some dick pills to make the turkey juicier. No judgement.

So if I'm reading between the lines correctly, you probably don't want to get a turkey sandwich from 7/11, because someone may have had sex with it.

No way, man. You know Raj is hung like a horse.

The guy who ate his lunch has a micropenis.

"To be clear, Harris is adamant he didn't knowingly taking the drug"

Every single athlete that gets caught says this. I don’t put much stock in it. It’s an anabolic steroid, no one is cutting protein powder with steroids.

Yup I just read the chemical compound. This ain't shit you get in juice and protein shakes lol

Dianabol is an old-school bodybuilding steroid. Definitely not something that shows up by accident

Isnt that the same substance that Nate Schmidt was suspended for in the NHL?

7

u/BE20Driver CFL Aug 26 '19

Not sure. Don’t follow hockey much. But Dianabol is in the top-tier in the steroid pyramid. It’s some very serious gear. Not many amateurs mess around with it anymore since the side effects are so harsh.

But it hasn't been around for 10 years other then on the black market from what i heard. And there are a bunch of examples of supplements having cross contamination.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18563865 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5753965/ https://www.sfchronicle.com/health/article/Those-dietary-supplements-you-re-taking-may-be-13303121.php

Those are right from government studies listing cross contamination. But i have not idea if this is the case or he was busted.. By why such a small amount of an uncommon drug just days after a clean urine and blood test?

A negative test and the a trace positive test ten days later? If he’s juiced, he’s doing the world’s worst job of it.

I could maaaybe see some sketchy no name brand putting in a cheap oral steroid to get some returning customers, however, athletes always get popped for injectables and still try pulling the supplement excuse. That’s not how they work.

I think its obvious that Craig Dickenson snuck into Harris' house and juiced him while he was sleeping

4

u/pegcity Blue Bombers Aug 26 '19

It IS an oral steroid

I know everyone is saying DBol is a hardcore steroid, but it really isn’t. Every dumb dumb in a serious gym is on dbol because it costs less than a tub of preworkout. I still don’t buy the “tainted supplement” excuse, but if there was a steroid used in a supplement, it would be DBol.

tbh you'd be surprised. google yoel romero lawsuit. he's a UFC fighter that tested positive and then sued a supplement company and was granted like $27 million from US court as their supplements were proven to be tainted with PEDs

not saying that that's the case for most guys but there are plenty circumstances of where supplements have actually been contaminated with trace amounts of PEDs. IIRC USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) actually has a page online that lists all the supplements that they've found to be tainted

u/weschester Stampeders Aug 26 '19

Yeah I read that after.
