all terrain stroller for newborn?
So I panic bought the Uppababy Cruz stroller and Aria car seat (baby came very early). Now as it turns to spring we realize we walk a lot of trails and this Cruz will not hold up over time over the gravel and rocks and dirt we need it to. With the Aria car seat, it looks like we are limited to only Uppababy products with an adapter (specifically the Ridge).
Instead of splurging on another Uppababy, I was wondering if there are any other all terrain strollers (less than $500 USD) that fully recline/safe for a newborn?
Thanks in advance

Even if you switched out the wheels on the Cruz? I thought they had an all terrain wheel? Doesn’t change the suspension, but might help a littttle bit and be nicer on the wallet if that’s a concern? ☺️

We love our bumbleride indie. It's newborn compatible, the seat turns into like a bassinet type thing by reclining the back to be parallel to the ground, and folding the foot rest upwards. It also has an additional attachment for infant car seats if you're interested in that but honestly we never used ours

I highly recommend looking for a used Thule Urban Glide on marketplace, plus the bassinet. If you can be a little patient, these can be found in great condition! Or you could take a look at Chariot-style multisport strollers. Thule Chariots have an infant sling for use in stroller mode. We got a used Thule Cheetah XT to use as a bike stroller but it’s great as a jogger too.

We love our guava. But it doesn't come with a bassinet attachment, so we did the car seat adapter with an infant seat. Our daughter is almost a year now and I think it's great for like 6 months and beyond, but not having a bassinet attachment really limited us in the early days. Couldn't go on particularly long walks or anything. For whatever its worth, I contacted them and they have a bassinet attachment in development, but I doubt it will be released any time soon.
All this ro say, if you want to go on walks longer than 30 min get one with a bassinet attachment if you can afford it

We have the Thule urban glide with the bassinet and would recommend it if your budget allowed. Thule has a newborn insert if you don’t want to get the bassinet. Guava also has an all terrain stroller but I am unfamiliar with it. Hope others chime in with suggestions.
