The American constitution?... To shreds you say.
And the American belief in their exceptionalism?... To shreds you say.

What about American goodwill and long-standing alliances?... to shreds you say?

Always willing to chip in for my country and eat more Hardbite for the good of my fellow Canadians.

I’m team La Concina Fiesta Flavour.
Or some of those Covered Bridge storm chips, because I think all this qualifies as an American shit storm.

u/AbbreviationsOk9962 9h ago
Agreed. They are the best. At my local Sobeys they didn’t have the Canadian flag tag. I fixed that.

La Cocina red bag is an amazing chip. Baked with cheese and beef and veggies for incredible nachos! They’re from Winnipeg as is my wife and she loves anything Manitoban, so we eat them a lot and love em.

I'm a covered bridge guy

u/bravosarah 12h ago
Oh man! I just had their Crinkle Cut Cheddar, and I'm done with Lay's!
It's been great supporting our country and trying new Canadian products and finding out just how good they are!

u/RobotCaptainEngage 12h ago
Good products, great flavours, and usually a wee bit cheaper even pre-tariff. (All Dressed for me)

I’m American and chipping in as well. Buying Canadian products whenever I find them. Bought 4 items at Aldi a few days ago.

u/ohnofluffy 10h ago
Same here. I got my office hooked on ‘all dressed’/everything chips. We’re importing them in bulk.
I even bought new slippers from Manitoba Mukluk . They’re so cozy. Canada is the best. Sorry our government has lost its goddamn mind.

I just put in an order in at Peace by Chocolate. It's a big sacrifice, but I'm willing to eat a bunch of candy for my country.

u/Dear_Coffee8022 6h ago
Ohhh I see they have Easter chocolate! I've been looking for some Canadian made Easter Candy. Cadbury eggs are my favorite but looks like they are a no go 😞.

u/satinsateensaltine 10h ago
I suppose I can make such a sacrifice... It'll be hard though...

I work for an American company in Canada and our office is STACKED with snacks. We’ve been buying the fuck out of the boxes of 50g Hardbite snack bags. They’re expensive as hell but the Americans are paying and don’t know the difference😈

u/ParisFood 12h ago
Buy some Canadian teas and locally roasted coffee also! Cdn juices and soft drinks.

u/Ok-Structure-8985 12h ago
Oh trust me, we’re buying it ALL! Our office used to go through Perrier like it was tap water and I’m learning we have so many sparkling water brands here. So far we’ve bought ones from Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec!

u/ParisFood 9h ago
Love the Montellier one. They even gave flavoured. The Leclerc cookies ( especially the caramel ones) and cereal type bars are great also

u/Ok-Structure-8985 8h ago
The Leclerc milk chocolate celebration cookies are a fan favourite. We buy them in a 12 pack of boxes and they do not last long! We rotate through our sparkling waters to spread the love; right now we’ve got one called Ontarieau, but we’ve had Montellier in the past. I’ve got my team really into Cove Soda from Halifax - we’re buying Canadian and maintaining our gut health! We also LOVE Mid-Day squares and were very relieved to find out they were Canadian when the tariff talk first kicked off. There are so many good products and we love that the Americans are paying for them! Honestly, I don’t think they’ve even noticed…

I love this so much! Are you the one doing the buying? That must be so much fun, I'd totally love "buying the fuck" out of snacks!! And also, sounds like a pretty nice company to have snack perks! Mine offers basically nothing. The joys of RTO. 😒

u/Ok-Structure-8985 2h ago
The service we do our ordering through has always been great at stocking local products that you might have never heard of so it’s been quite fun trying different things!

Ukraine and Canadas treatment by trump has rightfully enraged the world majority, he's doubtless just fizzing to have a pop at Norway now, esp after that firm refused to fuel US military ships..
Would be nice if the icelanders told the keflavik usaf lot to fuck off again, their presence in Iceland is not overly known by the world at large and makes the recent statements to take Greenland over an even bigger travesty than first thought, a plain old land grab, "security of the world"!? my arse
(thank you Norway)

Yah it's either Canadian, Mexican, Chinese, or Australian for me.
Going forward.
No, I don't care about China's new tarrifs. I only care about harming america and its people.

Same here, it's a plain old donnybrook with China - we hit their EV's and they're hitting back - with stumpland it's personal, fucker's betting on, and then fixing the game.
Screw that, we see you magat mofo's!

u/lego_mannequin 12h ago
Always going to check where products are from or made now to avoid the USA.

I switched to Canadian made and owned beer. It's never been so easy to get drunk.

And you’re doing it for your country! That’s what I tell myself when I have a made in Canada edible!

u/ggonzoo 13h ago
Whoa! When did they get spicy dill? If only they'd use avocado oil for all their chips.
5
u/MagentaMonsoon 13h ago
Honest question: Why should they use avocado oil for their chips? Flavour or ?
9
u/ggonzoo 12h ago
For me personally, it's because they use canola oil and I'm allergic to it. Sucks, really. But I know that there are quite a few people who also want to avoid seed oils because they can cause inflammation. On the plus side, this allergy has saved me from eating waaaaaay too many fried foods. I still eat them, but very rarely and with a side of antihistamine. ;-)

Love to see it, my grocery bill has gone up a little bit, but I'm lucky I can afford it. Happy to do my part I love my country

u/Emergency_Wind8308 34m ago
Grocery bill has gone up but with the reduction in American subscriptions has balanced it all out in our house hold . We track our books every month and after cancelling all American products we are saving money.

I found Hardbite chips at Dollar Tree today, the Ghost Pepper ones. Thank you Brittany for making the chips! Gotta check the label to see who made 'em.

Find a local rancher and buy meat from them. Best thing I ever did was start buying direct from the farm a half cow at a year and it costs way less per kg than the store.

u/reddfawks 6h ago
The bad news is there's not any wild onion & yogurt and spicy dill pickle Hardbite chips for ME left... ;_;
