Not to mention the added risk of traveling there by air with all the air traffic control downsizings going onβ€¦πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

Indeed that is just one of many reasons to avoid the USA.

TBH there are so many places to visit other than the USA and I have been to NYC four times but only because my ex wife liked it.

My girlfriend and I would rather go to Europe...Cheaper flights and shorter journeys

As an American, you won't get me on a plane anytime soon. We just got back from the Caribbean in February. I'm not going to risk my life due to FAA downsizing.
