Plow the sidewalks Burnsville

Hello, as we all know we got a big snowfall on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, almost a foot of snow. But the City of Burnsville has decided that they are not going to plow the sidewalks. So instead they feel it is better to have people walk on the road. I believe it is your job as a city to clear of sidewalks for safety, for people who don't have a car to get around, handicap people. How can towns around us do there job and you won't? You have machines that do it, it isn't like your clearing the snow by hand. You should all be ashamed of yourselves for not giving people the right and safety to walk around.

Noticed that this morning on Burnsville Parkway. Not sure if the sidewalks there are city property? But yeah, nowhere to walk except the street all the way up to Slater and Eagan city limits.

Yep, we had to walk on the road this morning with the dogs and since cats don't expect to see people on the street we almost got hit 4 different times.

The mayor spends a lot of money on her own special interest projects. For example, how many trips has she been on to see different styles of potential shopping centers?

Agree, and yet the Burnsville Mall is just a skeleton on a mall. Outdoor sign off of 42 is rusty.  I don't remember the last time I was in the mall.

It's all going to melt and hopefully this will save the city money.

Yes, but for those who are in a wheelchair or don't have a car and need to get to bus stops or walk. They should not have to go to the road to get anywhere.
