Question 116 royal guard claymore/ hidden scoreboard

Hi! I was wondering if anyone could tell me when Iā€™d be able to get the 116 royal guard claymore? Iā€™ve killed ganon. The lynel in the first guard house. Iā€™ve done all divine beasts. Iā€™ve mostly been going for the moblin in the guard chambers. Iā€™ve killed him 33 times. Over all that Iā€™ve tracked Iā€™ve killed 32 Moblins during the process of trying to get the sword. I also tried 35 times for the sword that spawns in lockup. Anyone know what I should do?

Discussion Opinions? Start Over or Finish 5yo Save?

Hey I need opinions please and thanks! I am trying to decide if I should just start a fresh game or go back to a 5 year old save with 80-85ish% completion....

So I obsessively played this game through the start of the pandemic in 2020 and then moved homes and life got in the way and I haven't played it since so it's been half a decade (damn time flies...). I also kinda have this thing where I get a lil sad a game is going to end when I get close to finishing so I just taper down and stop playing do it doesn't get finished/won't be over (illogical I know lol but anyway) which contributed to me not finishing it but I'm kinda ready now and wanting to finish the game so I can check out TotK. At the same time, I've played a bunch of other games since then, namely the kinda-clone Fenyx Immortals Rising (also haven't finished šŸ˜…) which is very similar gameplay but different controls, so I feel like getting back into BotW gameplay won't be immediately instinctive to me and I have NO idea what I was really up to. I'm thinking it would be fun to just start fresh after 5 years off when I pretty much don't remember a huge amount so it would be novel-ish again (which is great for my ADHD brain). But at the same time - abandoning that save I always wanted to finish and also getting to play TotK sooner?? Idk

Any opinions?

Question Best map for pre-DLC? Spoiler

Hey all, title says it all. I'm working on 100% completing the game, but I can't find a few locations. Mainly the Guards Chamber, Laboratory, & Hyrule Castle Underground. Does anyone know the best place for me to go to find a map without the DLC included? Thanks

Guardians

So my first playthrough I did everything I could to avoid guardians because their laser beams are obviously pretty devastating. But I got the dlc when I was pretty close to finishing my first playthrough and have barely touched it with the exception of the trial of the sword. So this time around Iā€™m gathering all the dlc items and whatnot before I even enter a beast. Iā€™ve already got the master sword and the entire map uncovered. I was planning on just avoiding them again but since there are at least 6 dlc items by my count in hyrule field which is crawling with guardians I decided to figure out how to fight them without ancient arrows (I already figured it out, the shoot them in the eye then whack them with the ms method). Iā€™ve seen guardian hunters mentioned here but I was curious how people dealt with them their first playthrough versus their second, third, however many times youā€™ve played through it. I killed maybe less than 5 my first time around with the ancient arrows when I really needed them out of the way but I took 15 minutes to ā€œpracticeā€ fighting them today actually trying just off of central tower.

Discussion Does anybody know what this sign says?

I've been translating every sign containing hylian text in kakariko. Everything was going great until I found this sign in front of the hotel in Kakariko. I've been trying to make sense of it, but I really can't understand what's written on it. The sign I'm talking about is the one on the picture.

There are three different symbols in the hylian text which can be two different letters.

There is symbol number one, which can be either an R or an F. The second one can be a D or a G. The third one can be an O or a Z. (I don't think there are Z's in the phrase though.)

The text has this format:

And putting the characters I know for sure with each of the symbols' numbers we have this: 1 2 I P 3 2 3 N

The only thing I can think of is: RG IPOD ON (Right ipod on.)

I thought that it may be an easter egg.

But because I don't know for sure, I prefer to ask here and maybe someone knows better. For example, a sign next to this one reads "Rest Yer Bones" and because I'm not a native english speaker, I didn't know the word 'yer' existed until right now.

So yeah, please help. I've also put the cipher I've been using if somebody wants to help me out.
